How we make it
CTP means computer to plate: the file is imaged straight onto the aluminium plate, with no film in between. That means tighter registration, fewer steps where something can go wrong, and plates ready the same day. We image our own plates on a Heidelberg Suprasetter, and the same equipment works for other print shops in Sucre running GTO 46, GTO 52, MO or Speedmaster presses: plates are imaged at 50x70 centimetres and in those presses' formats. To image a plate we need the final file, imposed or ready to impose, and we check it before imaging, because a plate with a mistake cannot be corrected: it gets imaged again.
Lead times and quantities are indicative. For large or urgent runs, write to us and we will work it out.
